TENTERFIELD
Tenterfield is one of the most romantic and colourful of Australia's frontier towns, and is known as “The Birthplace of Our Nation”. Just 30 minutes from Kurrajong.
STANTHORPE
A quick 20 minutes from Kurrajong this ex-Tin mining town, is central to South East Queenslands Wine growing region. Readily accesible by Queensland and New South Wales visitors.

GIRRAWEEN NATIONAL PARK
An 11 700 ha park offering spectacular granite landscape and supports a rich array of flowering plants and wildlife. Girraween National Park offers bushwalking, picnicking, camping, swimming and bird watching.

BALD ROCK NATIONAL PARK
This park features boulders, caves, canyons and the largest exposed granite rock in Australia, a monolith second only to Ullaru.Picnicking facilities are on site.

SUNDOWN NATIONAL PARK
Offering visitors the chance to see high rugged country with sharply defined ridges and panoramic views. Peaks rise to more than 1000 m above sea level.
